Job Summary:
Performs varying standardized laboratory assignments and experiments.
Job Duties:
Under direct supervision, performs standard data processing, code development, and research assignments involving a series of related operations in the field of computational proteomics.
Test performance and benchmarks codes developed for protein turnover rate estimations. Keeps version and source codes for software developed in the lab.
Sets up and conducts standard computational simulations following detailed technical instructions.
Prepares biological data from publicly available repositories and conducts basic quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Maintains records of all tests performed and data analyzed.
Assists in the compilation and tabulation of data and provides preliminary analysis.
Compiles, calibrates, operates and makes minor modifications to a variety of laboratory bioinformatics tools/codes, as defined by appropriate guidelines.
Performs related duties as required.
Salary Range: Actual salary commensurate with experience or range if discussed and approved by hiring authority.
